Care Guide:
Light: Indirect sunlight only. They do best in semi-shade.
Watering: As a rule of (green) thumb, allow this plant’s soil to dry out between watering. It will not tolerate being left in water or in dry soil for a long period of time. Watering schedules will vary through the seasons: From October to March these plants will enter a hibernation state, water them less during this time.
Humidity: Regularly mist their leaves, they will absorb the water and enhance their beautiful green colour.
Temperature: 20-25 degrees
Air Purifying: They will help clean the air in your home!
Pet-Friendly?: This plant is toxic if consumed. (all parts are toxic to humans and animals apart from their coffee bean).
Additional Information: The Indoor Coffea Plant is a dwarf cousin of the commercial plant, ideal for cultivating in the comfort of your own home. When the fruits ("cherries") of your plant have ripened to red and are slightly soft to the touch, pick them off the plant by hand. Separate the inner coffee beans from the fruit by pulping the cherries in a bowl of water.
